About The Little Flower Company

My name is Julia Wynne and I took over the shop called The House of Tulips on 1st December 2015 and on that day The Little Flower Company was born.  By August 2017 we had outgrown our little shop and despite looking  we were unable to find another retail shop large enough to house our growing business,  More and more of our designs and weddings were being done from my home and we took the decision to take all aspects of our sales range in house.  Out of the blue in September we were offered a shop on The Commons which fulfilled all of our wish list and we got the keys on 1st October, and began a 2 month renovation programme.  We re opened on 1st December and have just completed our first hectic Christmas in our new home and we love it!

I have been a florist for 15 years after training at Reasehea  College and qualifying with a distinction. I have always loved all aspects of floristry and enjoy the changing seasons and the variety that this brings. As Claude Monet said “I must have flowers, always and always”. This is so very true for me. I love everything about them. In their natural state, and in the beautiful designs that can be created with them, they bring magic to life’s most important moments. Whatever the occasion, from the saddest to the greatest, your vision is what I want to turn into reality.

So whatever the reason, as the old advert goes, “say it with flowers”.
